2nd Position - Outside Cherrygrove - video and action
[Duck's face looks tired and worn as it appears on the screen. In the background her Pidove is pecking at a pile of breadcrumbs, and her pack is carelessly dumped right beside it.]
Someone told me it was seven day's walk to the next town. Only I kinda ran out of money today and I don't have enough supplies for the journey. [It's obvious she doesn't know what to do.]
[Gurren squawks loudly. Seems a wild Pidgey is muscling in on HIS meal. When it doesn't get the vocal warning and continues pecking, the Pidove attacks his rival with the only move he knows. Gust. Duck drops her device and the camera now only shows blue skies and the canopy of a tree. But Duck can still be heard admonishing her pokemon.]
No don't! You'll blow it away! [A rustle of leaves indicates that Gurren still needs to learn some obedience. A couple of breadcrumbs are blown across the screen. Angry bird cries are heard.]
There, now look what you did! There was plenty for both of you! [It appears Duck is completely ignored, given the angry cries redouble in ferocity. A few more Gusts shake the trees before she finally decides she's had enough.] That does it! Gurren, return!
[She comes back into view with hair messy, covered in twigs and breadcrumbs, holding not one, but two pokeballs.] Shoot, was this on the whole time? [She looks sheepish.] Also I guess I caught my first pokemon.

[She grins sheepishly. She rummages through her pack and takes out an absolutely piddly amount of trail mix. Big sigh.] I guess I better get going.

[Said Sentret's sitting on his shoulder, actually, and will give a friendly wave when mentioned.]

As for your pokemon, I don't think I have much advice besides making sure you spend lots of time with both of them individually.
